For leaders and managers, increasingly the ability to get, manage, and monetize innovation is paramount to success. Business leaders need to continually adjust and remodel their businesses due to innovation. And managing information, innovation and knowledge transfer is critical. Given the advancements in information technology and a diverse and global workforce that needs information – anywhere, any time — the need to effectively manage and  share information, and the ability to distill this content in a timely and useable fashion is integral to adding value to products, customers and shareholders.

Robert Courteau, president, SAP North America, is responsible for all of SAP’s business operations in the US and Canada.  Prior to his current position, Robert served as chief operating officer (COO) for SAP’s Global Field Operations. In this role, he was responsible for the overall performance of SAP field operations throughout Global sales, ecosystem, consulting, and services. During his tenure at SAP, he has held various senior executive and sales management positions, including: COO for SAP North America, where he managed several key areas of the business. He joined SAP in 2004 when he was appointed president and managing director, SAP Canada.  Prior to joining SAP, Robert served as an executive vice president for EDS Corporation and vice president at Xerox.
